Kick-off MAGO project: A game changer to build web applications for water and agriculture

MAGO is the new PRIMA-funded project that aims at developing Mediterranean wAter management solutions for a sustainable aGriculture supplied by an Online collaborative platform. The overarching objective of the project is to make this connection between research results and real market needs and end-user demands, in the field of food security and water management in the Mediterranean region, especially focusing on the challenge of climate change. MAGO will develop WEMED, a collaborative platform with WEb applications for agriculture in the MEDiterranean.


The project, coordinated by Cetaqua, has a consortium formed by 10 partners: Aigües de Barcelona , CSIC, Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB) from Spain, INRAE and LISODE from France, University of Thessaly(UTH) from Greece, INRGREF and Ezzayra Solutions (EZZAYRA) from Tunisia,American University of Beirut (AUB) from Lebanon, and Meta Meta Anatolia from Turkey.

MetaMeta Anatolia’s director Sukru Esin, this unique project will bring a lot of benefits to the Mediterranean farmers and to young water experts.  MetaMeta Anatolia’s mission is aiming to bring benefits to the farmers. During this 3 years of project, numbers  of demonstrations and learning days will be carried out.
