We aim in all our themes to create change at scale, to introduce better practice in land and water management in a large number of countries and geographies.
Our guiding principles are to work on action in order to create a change on the ground. We believe in life-long development: for us, engagement does not stop at the project closure. We aim to combine research, training, and implementation and bring practice and policy together. What is good should be shared and scaled-up. Hence, we embrace open access.
We are guided by inclusiveness, by dedicated attention to groups that are vulnerable. We give dedicated attention to disability and age – not leaving anyone behind. We want to promote well-being and help create jobs with what we do. Often we are fortunate and we can open new territory. We innovate and we enhance the innovating capacity of others. There are many opportunities waiting to be used.
