Rodents are a critical yet neglected issue in Lebanon—present in both urban and rural areas. Ecological disruptions and pollution have favored invasive species, threatening both crops and public health.
Worryingly, data on rodent species is scarce, and recent studies reveal resistance to chemical rodenticides—highlighting the need for ecological alternatives.
That’s why MetaMeta is piloting 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗠) as part of the 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗘 project, starting with household surveys in the Chouf region to map rodent impact and inform future action.
